Best concert ever!

Dreams Come True truly comes alive when they are on stage. And their Wonderland concerts are not simple concerts, they are glamourous events! Elaborate stage concepts, large and entertaining casts, and a top notch band make for an emmensely entertaining experience. Even non-fans of DCT admit that they put on one hell of a show. No other Jpop group even comes close!

Wonderland 1999 Winter is the longest concert available on video at slightly over 2 1/2 hours long and goes through a great selection of DCT classics as well as recent hits. DCT achieves another level when performing live. It is not something to be missed.

The DVD is playable in all regions, so it can be played on any DVD player in the world!

DCT Clips V1 is a collection of all the DCT music videos since their move to Virgin records (all songs since 'Sing or Die'). It's truly enjoyable to see the numerous creative ways directors (and the band themselves) interpret their songs into film, especially for an intended non-American audience.

It's a good supplement to Monkey Girl Odyssey, since half of the videos come from that CD. It's also contains two English videos, so you can actually see what they wanted to show the English speaking public (Both are quite good!). And Miwa is always a delight to see. ^_^ It's the only DCT Video collection there is, so pick it up today!

Take the description of the Wonderland 1999 Winter concert and slap it right here...with a few exceptions. Instead of a large, energetic show, you get the three DCT members by themselves in a much cozier, smaller stage type of concert. The concert is also slightly more ballad oriented which makes it a prime fit for Miwa's sultry and powerful voice. The members get more involved with the audience and even invite a lucky winner on stage to get serenaded.

At slightly over two hours, Wonderland 1999 Summer is a excellent compliment to it's wintery brother. I'd highly recommend getting both and enjoying DCT in both settings.

Seventh of July Sunny Day is the soundtrack to the popular 1996 movie of the same name. It is also complete DCT...every single song! In many ways, it is DCT's first unofficial greatest hits CD. It's contains the best songs from the beginning until 'Delicious'. It includes a number of well done English DCT version, including their famous Winter Song. The disc also gives us the treat of many never before heard instrumentals composed by Masa.

It's a very well thoughtout and arranged disc. It's no wonder that it actually sold more copies that some of DCT's regular albums. Highly recommended! (The movie is worth a rental too ^^)

Some fans prefer the earlier DCT music and 1990's Wonder 3 is truly perfect example of youthful power and exuberant energy they exhibited back in those days. From the high-poppy 'Ring! Ring! Ring!' to the unexpected instrumental delight of 'Open Sesame' to the powerful ballad 'Kondo wa Niji o mi ni Yukou', the album reaches new heights and then some. One of the few perfect albums on my list.

As time went on, as the members of DCT became older and wiser, their music naturally became richer and more mature. They delved into many different genres and made them their own; 1993's Magic is an excellent example of this progression. Miwa's voice is even more expressive and powerful, while Masa arragements show a delightful expanding vision.

From the lovely guitar ballad 'Aishiteru Aishiteta' to the wonderfully simple 'a little waltz' to 70's R&B inspired 'go for it', Magic envelopes the listener to DCT's true musical nature. I'd also recommend that 'Happy Happy Birthday' become an worldwide official alternative to the regular Happy Birthday song. ^_^

Because it's the new one! It's the perfect example of what DCT is about these days, now that they've found themselves comfortably within their 'Supergroup' status and can experiment to their heart's content, while still keeping an eye to the current cutting edge. 2001's Monkey Girl Odyssey is also considered by many to be their best album in the past six years.

From the powerful Atlantis ballad, 'crystal vine', to the vivid Spanish guitar of 'Snow Dance' to the Timbaland inspired, funky soft 'Kanon', Monkey Girl Odyssey is a rich delight rising above the shlock that passes for some of the popular music these days.
